VinUniversity is a non-profit private university established by Vingroup with the goal of becoming an excellent institution dedicated to cultivating future talents. Built to international standards, the project is oriented toward green and sustainable development. Key highlights include an expansive green landscape covering 84% of the campus, significant investment in solar energy, and prioritized infrastructure for electric vehicles.

The project is designed and invested according to LEED certification standards to minimize energy and operating costs, reduce environmental footprints, and enhance the quality of the learning, working, and living environment for faculty, staff, and students. VinUniversity stands as a pioneer in defining green and sustainable educational facilities that meet international benchmarks.

Following the establishment of both proposed and baseline models, energy simulations were conducted to evaluate the efficiency of the current design solutions. Preliminary energy simulation results indicate significant savings:

  • Main Lecture Hall Block (Blocks A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I): 40.39% reduction in total energy consumption compared to the baseline.

  • Research Complex (Blocks Q, R, S): 43.12% reduction.

  • Lecture Hall M: 49.76% reduction.

  • Conference & Service Center (Blocks P, U): 55.03% reduction.

  • Dormitory T: 45.92% reduction.

These simulation results demonstrate that the design solutions proposed by EDEEC not only satisfy the stringent requirements of LEED standards but also deliver substantial and measurable energy efficiency across all building groups throughout the campus.
