#2 Meet Our Team: Le Phuong Anh – Chief Operating Officer of Edeec

From a “midlife crisis at 35” to becoming Edeec’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ms. Phuong Anh’s journey is a story of unexpected turns, fearless leaps, and the art of balancing productivity with joy. Since joining Edeec in early 2022, she has quickly become the team’s steady heartbeat—keeping operations running smoothly, sometimes with a gentle reminder, and other times with her signature humor.

With her diverse experience and flexible leadership style, she not only oversees internal operations but also shapes Edeec’s workplace culture: transparent, professional, and tightly connected. In this conversation, she shares her path to Edeec, her personal life philosophy, and some memorable workplace moments.

1. What’s your current role at Edeec? 

I’m the COO – Chief Operating Officer. My main job is to “keep an eye” on the team, make sure everything stays on track… and occasionally give a friendly nudge when needed.

2. When did you start working at Edeec?

From January 2022.

3. What academic or professional achievements are you most proud of?

Honestly, nothin’ – except that I enjoy going to work every day. Sometimes there’s even a little frustration here and there, just to keep things balanced. I count that as a big life achievement.

4. What inspired you to join Edeec?

Probably my “midlife crisis” at 35. I used to think I’d happily work as an employee my whole life, but suddenly I felt I needed a new direction. Around the same time, Mr. Vu – the founder of Edeec was highly skilled in his field but needed a partner on the management side. And so I embarked on this journey, inheriting the remaining challenges left behind by my predecessor.

5. What makes Edeec different from others in the market?

Deep technical expertise, optimization proven by concrete numbers, and a service spirit that we’re building every single day.

6. A memorable milestone from your journey that stands out?

I moved from a workplace that was a hive of activity to Edeec, where it was as silent as the grave. In my first month, I thought everyone was upset with each other… but it turned out they were just shy!

7. If you had to describe the future of Edeec in three words, what would they be?

A friendly and efficient workplace, the top green consultancy brand, and hopefully… very wealthy!

8. What do you look for in teammates who join Edeec?

Friendliness, efficiency, and strong expertise.

9. Is there a quote or personal philosophy that guides you?

“No pain, no gain”. It’s in the moments of “pain” that you gain the most valuable lessons—and the purest joy when results finally come.

A secret makes a woman woman.
